Talk about the ultimate in recession fun, the Cardboard Tube Fighting League gives enthusiasts the opportunity to square off with opponents to duel with with the cardboard tubes we used to do battle with with our siblings when special occasions demanded the use of wrapping paper.
The fighting league, amazingly, has reached global proportions, and attracts crowds of people to watch the events. A lot of fun.
But the ultimate cool to me is when the combatants also make their own cardboard armor for the duels and show up in cool suits; include head armor.
