The Mini Giant, a newly developed inkless printer has been developed by designer Paula Adina Sumalan for the 'Futures' category of the Zero Boundaries Zink Product Design Competition, for which she won first price.

This nifty little printer has no need of ribbons or ink cartridges, rather it uses crystals which are heated onto a special paper.

All you have to do is place it on the top left corner of the ZINK paper and it self-propels itself to create the print.

You can fit the Mini Giant into the palm of your hand.

Celebrity Trends

Orlando Bloom is one of the more well known actors in the world, and has been fortunate enough to star in two of the most popular film series of all time: Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Carribbean.

It may not have been all luck though, as he may just know how to pick the right roles and films to work in.

Bloom got his first breakout role in Lord of the Rings, where he was cast as Legolas the Elf, a key part in the overall story.

Some films Bloom is currently involved in are New York, I Love You, which is waiting to be released; Sympathy for Delicious, which is in post-production; Main Street, also in post-production; and The Cross, which is in pre-production.

Rumors are Orlando Bloom is also in pre-production for The Cross, and also The Red Circle.

At this time it seems his relationship with Miranda Kerr is still on.

I like Orlando Bloom, and think he's a highly underrated actor. While he has had some success as a leading man, I think a breakthrough role there will propel him to the recognition he deserves.

Boyd Morrison Lands Deal with Simon and Schuster After Kindle Success

The deal from Simon & Schuster with Boyd Morrison shows that you can indeed have success on digital and traditional print platforms, as Morrison's book The Ark did so well on Kindle at got the attention of Simon & Schuster which resulted in the paper print deal.

Now Morrison has the opportunity to write two books for Simon & Schuster in the deal, specifically for the traditional book market.

Some people seem surprised by this, but there's no doubt concerning traditional books that they aren't going the way of the dodo bird yet, and there's still a lot of people who want to curl up and hold a paper-based book.

Batman: Arkham Asylum? is about to release on the Xbox and Playstation 3, and if you can judge be the environment and green and yellow coloring, it's going to be a decent gaming experience.

While it's a typical gothic feel and look with the iron fences and overgrown shrubbery, it does set the mood well for a potential compelling and rich gaming environment and experience.

Let's hope the environment is a good measure of what the game will be like, as it will be a good play if it is.

As far as the Batman, his look was pretty conventional, and didn't offer much new there.

That's part of the latest USB offering the Floral Pen Drive, which along with its dual functionality also comes in the colors red, black and white.

The floral motif represents the Polish mountains, the country of origin for the Floral Pen Drive which includes a USB 2.0 interface and is made by Hornowski Design.

In the Fall fashion couture week recently, Valentino and Jean Paul Gaultier had a number of fantastic designs, and some that seemed to stand out and compete with one another where those that looked like superheroes and villains.

You've got to look a little closer at fashion collections these days, as larger themes have pretty much been abandoned for each individual outfit for the most part standing on its own.

So you've got to search more for those subtle mini-themes within the overall collection. These photos from Valentino and Gaultier show just that in the hero and villain look.

Auto Trends Audi Grand Piano

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Audi's design team has partnered with world-renowned piano builders Bosendorfer to design a grand piano.

Along with the celebration, Audi chief designer Wolfgang Egger said he also wanted to get his design team to think outside the box when building the piano, in order to come up with potential design ideas for the car.

While the Audi design team kept the basic shape of the piano to keep the acoustics the same, as you can see they changes the outward design quite a bit.

The $140,000 Bosendorfer Audi Design Grand Piano will debut on July 16 at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt.

Combine the awesome photographs and awesome illustrative work and you've got something bigger and better than the individual art forms alone.

This is something that could be used in a number marketing, film, comics, or whatever. There's a lot of potential to cross pollinate a number of these art forms and categories into something more.
